| Black Hereford Ranch is a progressive club calf producing and seedstock generating operation. Kris Black was a pioneer in the club calf producing business. The countless champions and winning genetics, that he has produced is one for the history books. The ranch is located in far western Oklahoma near the Texas border. The headquarters sits just west of Roll, Oklahoma on Highway 33. Annually there are two seedstock sales, dubbed THE CREAM OF THE CROP SALES. The June sale, concentrates on the operations elite female offerings and the fall sale offers the best of the elite herd sires. Two steers sales are held each spring that feature the best prospects prospects produced by this operation and the operations raising Cream of the Crop genetics. | The ranch is located 15 miles north of Cheyenne, Oklahoma on Hwy 283/33 and then 2.5 miles back west on Hwy 33. From I-40 in Oklahoma…take Hwy 283 north of I-40 at the Sayre exit and proceed north to Cheyenne. Go 13 miles north of Cheyenne to Roll, Oklahoma. Just north of Roll at the Hwy 283 and Hwy 33 junction, go west 2.5 miles on Hwy 33. Look for ranch sign. From the Texas Panhandle…On Hwy 60 at the 33 and 60 junction between Miami and Canadian go east on Hwy 33, 35 miles to the ranch. Look for the ranch sign. Canadian is about 40 minutes from the ranch and Cheyenne is about 15 minutes from the ranch. |
